Privacy Policy

How Darrim LLC collects, uses and protects the information you share through darrim.com and while working with us.
Who we are
This website is operated by Darrim LLC (“Darrim”, “we”, “us”), an interior design studio serving Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas and Southern California. Questions about this policy can be sent to rim@darrim.com.
Information you give us
When you send a project enquiry or email us, we collect what you choose to provide: your name, email address, project type, project location (city and state), ideal start date and your message. If you become a client, we may also collect your project address, phone number, photos and measurements of your space, budget and selections, and records of payments you make to us. On full-service projects where you ask us to place orders for you, we also use the payment details you provide for those purchases.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our site and its hosting provider automatically receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you and your approximate location derived from your IP address. How we use information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
- To deliver design services, place orders you approve on your behalf and coordinate with vendors and contractors. Payment details you give us for purchases are used only for those purchases and are not kept once the project is complete.
- To send invoices, keep business and tax records, and meet legal obligations.
- To run, secure and improve the website, including understanding which pages are visited.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host (Squarespace) and our email provider (Google Gmail). They may only use it to provide services to us.
- Vendors and contractors on your project, only with your knowledge and only what they need (for example, a delivery address).
- Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Business transfer: if Darrim is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
Third parties on our site
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google. Links to Instagram and to our 3D models on Coohom open those services, which collect information under their own privacy policies. [Confirm: we do not use advertising or retargeting pixels such as Meta or Google Ads. If you do, list them here.]
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our website does not currently change its behaviour in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt out of.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as needed to complete the project and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements. When we no longer need information, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send payment card numbers, bank details or other sensitive information through the enquiry form or by email.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing rim@darrim.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity. Residents of some states, including California and Texas, may have additional rights under state law; we will honour those rights where they apply to us. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and for material changes we will add a notice on our homepage.
