The brief
A café that feels like someone's home.
Habibi's needed to welcome a steady stream of students and neighbours while carrying the warmth of a Levantine kitchen. The design leans on texture over decoration: a counter clad in handmade tile, a terracotta plaster wall carved with lit niches for calligraphy ceramics, and a long cognac banquette beneath arched rug panels.
An arched hallway under a navy ceiling draws guests deeper into the space, and a bilingual "Order Here" sign sets the tone at the counter. Darrim carried the project from concept and renderings through procurement, with installation coordinated alongside the contractor.
Designed in 3D first
Walk the café before it was built.
Darrim models its projects in 3D before construction begins — layout, finishes and furniture — so clients can step inside, question every corner and sign off with confidence.
